I broke off the part where the air tube enters the motor switch. Its a small white plastic part that looks like a T. Can you help me with this? 

Sounds like you broke the bleeder tee that goes in the actuator line that goes from the air actuator to the switch on the motor. If this is not the case send me a picture, otherwise my suggestion would be to remove the tee and connect the actuator tube directly to the air switch on the motor.
